Yes, and no. It is possible for you to make one payment from your Primary Account that will get automatically allocated into multiple money pools and/or piggy banks you specify, but only in response to a nudge you have previously set up (i.e. you are responding to a notification in response to a nudge).
If you want to create a one-off payment, via the 'move money' screen in the Marygold app then this can only be allocated to one Money Pools / Piggy Bank / General Savings. The reasons for this are:
- Typically our users don't make these types of allocated payments on a one-off basis and we never want to over-complicate the user experience if it is not needed, and
- It is nearly as quick to make two separate payments to two specific money pools, than it is to go through the set-up process of allocating one payment between two pools.
When it comes to regular savings via nudges however, the above is not true. We know that our customers often save for multiple objectives/goals at the same time. So it is worth them setting up their nudge notifications to auto-allocate any future saving they may have to multiple Marygold money pools.
However, we do monitor demand for these types of features so if this is something that you really want please let us know.
